Paisley's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Paisley's Story...
This sweet little shih tzu was found living under a car. She is approx 2 yrs old and 11 lbs. She was so matted she had to be totally shaved down to the skin.. She is just a precious little girl, so happy, always smiling, gets along with all of the other dogs, seems to be pretty well leash and house trained and so quiet and well behaved. Once her coat grows back she is going to be just beautiful.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Woonsocket Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
