Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LUNA is a 6-7 yr, Great Pyrenees, spayed female 79lb, current with vaccines, heartworm negative, current with (flea and heartworm) prevention, and is house trained. This girl was adopted from a county shelter 2 years ago; her current family says Luna needs a larger fenced yard to roam and run because she loves being outside, and a companion (or family) that can give her more time and attention, and perhaps a furry friend as well. Luna currently lives with a small (deaf) dog; she is friendly and good w/other dogs, doesn't chew, doesn't dig, only climbs on furniture IF invited. Luna has a very sensitive spirit; if there is yelling of a negative nature she will hide. She will often greet strangers with barks to alert her family. Her interaction with children (primarily over the age of 7) has been great; she is hesitant to greet some men. Some of LUNA's FAVs: car rides, ear rubs, snow, walking the path at Lost Creek Reserve, and walking the neighborhood. Luna walks well on leash but her excitement of seeing another dog sometimes causes her to pull; the use of a Gentle Leader collar or No-Pull Harness may be helpful. Large active dogs like Luna require joint supplements to help them remain active and healthy; "Pet Thrive" as well as "NaturVet Joint Health Soft Chews Level 3 Advanced for Dogs" both are non prescription and tremendously beneficial.
