My name is Spike!

Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier Mix Dog for adoption in Transfer, Pennsylvania - Spike

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Spike's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Spike's Story...
Spike was relinquished along with his sister cocoa. They were bought as chi-weinies and obviously are not, therefor the owner said they got too big. Spike we know is at least part JRT and his mother was a purebred Dachshund. He is 8 months old, very very energetic. He is good with other dogs, probably no cats and he is good with children. He does take a little while to warm up as they were not socialized very well. He is not house trained and he does chew. He would need an experienced, patient owner familiar with the JRT breed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Transfer Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Transfer, or seeking a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Transfer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Transfer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Transfer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Transfer paves the way for another one to be saved.
