Shrimp's Story...
Who knows what kind of dog Shrimp is? He has the short legs of a basset or corgi, the head of maybe a beagle, and the coat and coloring of . . . a shepherd? A corgi? Whatever Shrimp is, he is the perfect dog. He is well-behaved, affectionate, and house-trained. Although Shrimp gets along great with other dogs, he wants to be by his person. He drags a blanket out of his crate to the room where his foster mommy is and plunks himself down there. Sometimes he holds a clump of the blanket in his mouth. He is the cutest little guy ever! Shrimp is approx 7 years old. He's a little over-weight and limps a bit, but he is on a diet in his foster home and also on joint supplements, so both issues should clear up fairly soon. Shrimp's foster mom is quite smitten with him, but Shrimp deserves to be in his own home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shrimp, a Transfer Corgi/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Beagle for sale in Transfer, or seeking a Corgi/Beagle dog from a breeder in Transfer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Transfer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Transfer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Beagle breeders who help with Corgi/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Transfer paves the way for another one to be saved.
