We can't be sure what Archie's true mix is because "Purebred Sweetheart" isn't a recognized breed, but that's just what he'd be if there was! He might be part Lab, part hound . . . and then there's the one-part comedian that's invented a game at the shelter in Arkansas where he'll climb out of the fence, stay close on the other side, and climb back in when he's ready. It's not that Archie wants to run away, he just thinks it's fun! So save your fence - - it won't work anyhow! Archie is very friendly with other dogs, he is so appreciative of any human attention (a true "People" dog!) and wags his tail at just a glance his way. In fact, his tail is almost constantly wagging -- he's just a happy boy! He's likes to take things at a leisurely pace and might even have a career as a therapy dog. He arrived as a stray, but keeps his kennel so clean we figure he must have been someone's dog at one time. Archie has all the best characteristics of a Lab: smart, affectionate, loyal and friendly. He has the gorgeous coat of a Plott Hound . . . but where is that awesome curly-Q tail from?? Archie is about 2 years old, weighs just about 50 pounds, healthy, neutered and ready to follow you anywhere! He can be cat tested.
