Bella1's Story...
Bella is a very sweet girl who, typical of a Shepherd, bonds to one person quickly. She is very intelligent and would thrive with some sort of job to do. She knows all of her basic commands plus more, was taught to ring a bell to go out, and will retrieve her leash on command. She is kennel trained but doesn't need to be kenneled. She loves to run and play fetch. A home with a yard would be most suitable for her. She adores belly rubs and affection. She attaches emotionally to her human and is extremely loyal as well as protective. She will need a home familiar with Shepherds and their protective behavior and/or the right home willing to utilize training specializing in protective dogs which the rescue is willing to help with. Bella has done well with other dogs. Cats and small children unknown. Adoption Fee: $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella1, a St. Paul German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever for sale in St. Paul, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in St. Paul.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Paul already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Paul breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Paul paves the way for another one to be saved.
