Elton's Story...
Elton is a great young 7 month old boy who came into rescue when he found himself stuck at a shelter. Foster note: Elton is a sweet little guy full of love and kisses! He would do well in an active home where he can run and play all day long! He does wonderful with dogs and cats, and is very gentle with people. He is learning obedience in his foster home, and doing very well so far! Since he is still a puppy at only 7 months old, he will need some work on patience...it's hard for him to contain all his happy wiggles! Elton is kenneled while his foster family is gone and at night. When he is loose, he has free run of most of the house, but prefers to stay right by your side. He kennels up great, but does get lonely when you leave him. He seems to be much more content in his kennel if there is another dog near by to keep him company. Check out this handsome boy! Elton is up to date on vaccines, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and microchipped, His adoption fee is $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elton, a St. Paul Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in St. Paul, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Paul.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Paul already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Paul breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Paul paves the way for another one to be saved.
