George's Story...
Hi, my name is GEORGE and I am a young, (1.5 years old) SLEEK and EXOTIC looking black male cat with a COOL WHITE DOT of fur on my chest. My rescuers believe that I am a mix of a type of cat breed called, BOMBAY. The folks from Posh Pets have been singing my praises. They have said that I have an AMAZING and UNIQUE PERSONALITY because of the following traits: I love to WRAP MYSELF around a human’s shoulders and stay PERFECTLY BALANCED as the person sits or walks around. (check out my photo) I will come right up to you and PLACE MY FRONT PAWS on your chest so that I can get stroked from my head to tail. I love ATTENTION and AFFECTION and I’m NOT SHY about asking for it. I get along GREAT with other CATS too. Do I sound MORE LIKE A DOG than a cat? Arrange to meet me and see for yourself. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Long Beach Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
