Buckley's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Buckley's Story...
Buckley came to us from pinellas county animal services. He was a stray someone found and turned in, only 7 lbs and a year old. He was very scared in a shelter environment so they asked if we could take him. He is a little timid at first but if you get down to his level and call him over to you in a sweet voice he will come with his tail wagging.. If you would like to meet Buckley please fill out our adoption application and email it back to us at info@RescueADog.org and include your phone number so we can arrange a meeting with you and the foster parent. The application can be found on our website RescueAdog.org under the forms tab.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buckley, a Palm Harbor Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
