My name is Cocoa and I am in foster care in rural Tennessee and will be transported north upon adoption. Here is my story...
I am 6 years old and was relinquished because my previous owner could no longer take care of me.
Cocoa is beginning to play with the other little dogs in his foster home. I assume he would ignore a mature house cat, as well. I will place him in a home with older children only since he came from a one person home before. He has lived with an older woman as the only dog . He was given very little affection and we believe he has lived most of his life outside. He has blossomed into a comical, friendly little guy. Cocoa weighs 8 lbs. and loves to be carried around. He begs for belly rubs by rolling on his back and throwing all fours in the air! If you begin rubbing he will be there all day!
He is now UTD on shots, heart worm negative and on preventative . He would not be a good apartment dog as he cries and barks when left alone . He sleeps in a crate at night - his choice. He enjoys sitting in your lap but especially loves exploring a fenced yard. He must have a secure fence . He dislikes being leashed.
He will arrive New England via Alphadog Transport with stops in PA,NY,CT,ME/VT. They charge $140 for their services and is paid when you claim your dog. All vet records come with Cocoa.
