Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carter is like an ordinary item that you find at the Good Will and when you bring it home you find out there’s hidden treasure inside. Unlike other hound mixes we have had at the shelter, Carter is calm and quiet in his kennel. This young fellow weighs in the 40 to 45 lb range; his coat is a pretty shade of chestnut but his face is cream colored with dark outlining around his ear flaps and a black tipped tail. He rides well in the car and walks well on a leash--even when he sees a squirrel he is interested in he does not lunge or pull. When you cup Carter’s head in your hands and he looks into your eyes, gently wagging his tail, the only thing to say is “Carter, I love you so much; you are such a good, good dog.” As he keeps holding your gaze because he doesn’t want you to leave, the only thing to do is to hug him gently, kiss him on the top of his head, and walk away smiling; you smile because you know you will be back again soon--Carter is such a good, good dog. To meet Carter contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, or call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org All adoptions require a meet and greet.
