My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Betty Boop. She's a super sweet 6 year old Westie mix that was found as a stray and taken to the Lorain Animal Emergency Clinic for a severe eye infection. Betty was treated at the clinic and then brought to Friendship to find a new home. She is healing nicely and was found to be a very loving girl. She's a quiet gal that loves attention and enjoys going for a good walk. Betty Boop hasn't lost her spirit and will bring great joy to the family that adopts her. Her beauty is not yet showing on the surface but her inner beauty shines. In a few more weeks, Betty will be beautiful both inside and out. Betty Boop has a severe dry eye condition that will require her to receive a daily dose of artificial tears the rest of her life. She is an absolute gem when receiving her medication.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
