My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hi to Sugar! She's a super sweet 4 year old Chihuahua mix that came in with her buddy Snowball because their family lost their home. The 2 dogs were very bonded but unfortunately for Sugar someone adopted Snowball and she is still waiting for a home. Sugar likes other dogs and cats but she doesn't like to share her food so she should be fed separately. Their owner said the 2 dogs were protective of her and liked to sleep with her. Sugar is house trained and has manners. She's very timid upon meeting new people. Please take it very slow. It may be best to have a staff member help you with the meet and greet. Once she knows you, Sugar is a lover.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
