My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Augie...he's a super nice doggie! Augie is a 2 year old black lab mix. He was rescued as a pup from another shelter. This fellow was with his family his entire life. They now have time conflicts and thought it would be best for Augie if he had a chance to find a family that had time for him. He had obedience training as a puppy and seemed to do well with other dogs. He has not been with cats. Augie was a little rough playing with the young children n the family and his owner agreed that he is too much dog for toddlers. He likes to dig in the yard but never escaped the fence. Augie has been a little frightened of his new surroundings here at Friendship. Please take it slow when visiting.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
