Facts about Hondo

  • Breed: Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Brown/Chocolate - With Tan
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Hondo is the sweetest companion dog you could ever find. He is such a cuddler! He is trained to "sit", "come" and to "go to bed "(his kennel - where he sleeps at night) Hondo shows a preference for women, however he does good with all people when he gets over his shyness. He is good with other dogs, both large and small, and with cats. He will sit up and beg for treats, and is learning to "jump" for treats too, so be prepared to have fun with all the tricks this little guy can do! Hondo would love a furrever home soon!

Special Medical Information:
Hondo is heartworm positive. His adoption will include six months of heartgard and a retest in six months at CPR's expense as part of treatment.

About Coastal Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Coastal Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused and neglected animals in the coastal areas of Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Our goal is to save as many pet lives as possible through rescue and to provide opportunities to the public to become better pet guardians.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets all live in our homes, so adoption applications must be submitted for appointments to be made to see the pets. We also have them with us at our outdoor events, so view our "events" calendar on our website for those dates and locations.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process is three-fold: submit an application, meet the pet, then arrange for us to do your in-home interview. Our fees are usually $150 for dogs, $40 for cats. Some special circumstances may change the fee; see pet's listing for actual adoption fee.
