Hello all, I am Clarissa or Momma! I am a happy and bouncy 8 pound, three-year-old pure-bred Chihuahua. I am good with cats and dogs. I get my spay stitches out next week and will be cleared to go to dog park and meet some new friends! I am crate-trained and I am working very hard on potty training but sometimes have accidents. I love to carry around cat toys and chew on my bones. I also love to sun bath outside and crawl under blankets at night. I am a great cuddler and I give lots of good kisses! Although I am very happy in my foster home with my dog friends and human mama, I cannot wait to find my forever home. PS I love car rides too!
Clarissa had a rough start in life and had puppies at early age. The little family was neglected and we rescued her, and her two sons from the shelter and they all had a common non-contagious skin condition that has been treated and the entire little family is now healthy and happy after a couple of months of good care, medication and food. Her sons Claude and Clooney are also up for adoption!
What she may not have in looks and perfect coat just yet, she makes up for in personality (see her video). This lil pooch makes her foster mom smile every day. She is such a happy, zippy lil girl.
