Caramel's Story...
Caramel is a 100% catahoula from working mom and dad that hunt cattle for a living and are amazing family members. He's one of 7 from this accidental litter. They're all gorgeous....many with stunning blue eyes! They're so pretty that I named them all after favorite candies. They are super friendly and sweet as they come. They are adventurousome and love to explore. They've already been to the creek a few times and love to jump right in. They're only 8 weeks old now and will be about 50 pounds when grown so good medium sized dogs. Catahoulas make great family members! Many are used for therapy dogs for kids with special needs. They are very protective and great with children. They get very attached and are super loyal. Amazing, smart dogs...my favorite breed! These pups will be up to date on all parvo shots, rabies shot, neutered/spayed, toe nails trimmed and monthly flea and tick protection on them. They've also been wormed 3 times. Come meet these beauties! They'll go fast to great homes!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caramel, a Goodlettsville Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Goodlettsville, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Goodlettsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goodlettsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goodlettsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goodlettsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
