Bobby is one of our super sweet littles, weighing in at under 9 pounds! Bobby came to us after living with and, unfortunately, not being treated very well by his previous owners. While he is learning that his new life is carefree and happy, he can still get a tiny bit nervous around new people. His ideal family will be one who can give him the patience he needs in order to continue to learn that his new life is one of love! Because of his past, Bobby is a little anxious around small children who move around quickly, so we think that a family with older children would be a more suitable fit.
Bobby is great with other animals and currently lives with a foster family that has both other dogs (big and small!) and some kitties. Bobby is not super hyper or active, his favorite activities include just hanging out with his family or taking a leisurely sun bathe on the back porch. Bobby is learning that outings can be fun and his foster mom is doing a great job of introducing him to new people and new experiences.
Bobby is a healthy little man with no known health issues. He is fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped).
Bobby is avaiable for out-of-state adoption. Because our dogs are all fostered in Houston, meeting Bobby prior to his adoption will not be possible. It will be possible to meet Bobby and his foster mom via Facetime or Skype following the completion of the adoption application.
The first step in our adoption process is to complete an adoption application, which can be located under the adoptables tab on our website www.reggiesfriends.org

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
