Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Higgins was a stray that was surrendered by a citizen who had rescued him from a highway. He was in real need of grooming. This person kept him for a week, but could not keep him longer. Higgins is a wonderful, loving dog. He weighs 10-12 lbs., is male, neutered, and up-to-date on shots. He is heartworm negative. He jumps into any human lap that presents itself. He gets along with other dogs. (Chased a cat in his foster home.) He may or may not be housebroken. He does not have free access to his entire foster home in the daytime. At night he stays in a wire cage which he does not soil. If not fully housebroken, he is well on the way.
For his $100 adoption fee, Higgins is ready to be adopted to the right home. For more information about Higgins or to make arrangements to meet him, call his foster home at (828) 293-5629. He will also be at ARF pet adoptions on Saturday from 1-3 at 50 Railroad Avenue in Sylva, NC. If you want to meet him there, call his foster home first to make sure that he will be there.
