1. I can run and handle stairs with competence.
2. When I go hiking with my foster family, I outlast the three-year-old Great Pyrenees.
3. I wrestle with said Great Pyrenees, who is twice my size.
4. I can navigate very well in my foster home, even without supervision.
Are you impressed? Everyone I've met is.
Unlike my failing vision, my hearing is quite sharp. I come when called and can hear people coming to the door (and will alert you).
My foster family calls me a low-maintenance dog, a happy boy, and an excellent houseguest (discounting that brisket incident, which really wasn't my fault). I'm just so pleased to have people to love me. Just bring out the brush and I'll snuggle right up.
I'd like a family of my own who will take me walking, hiking, and swimming. I could do with or without kids, another dog, cats, or a fence--I'm adaptable like that. Snuggles are a must, though, but you already knew that.
I'm being fostered in the Twin Cities metro area, and my adoption fee is $145. Rest assured that my affection is priceless. So are my snuggles. And smiles. And more snuggles.
