Dionne came to us from the county shelter....what a hot mess she was! This poor girl had clearly had a rough life before rescue. She was not spayed, had mammary tumors, and a mouthful of rotten teeth.
A trip to the vet took care of all that. She has 2 teeth, is now spayed, tumors gone.
We named her Dionne, after Dionne and the Belmont's hit single 'The Wanderer'--as that is what she used to do--wander--all over the house, the yard, seemingly aimless. That pretty much has stopped, and now when she's not sleeping or eating--she runs! She loves to gallop in the yard--it's so cute.
She gets along with everyone in the home--humans, dogs, cats--not a mean bone in her body. She also NEVER barks! She shares food, beds, toys, everything. She is just a sweet, gentle soul. She sometime has trouble staying upright on polished floors, carpeting/rugs are easier for her. She is a sweet old lady who deserves to live the rest of her life indoors, as a cherished family member
