MISTY's Story...
Meet Misty
Misty is another rescue from Muskingum County (Zanesville) Ohio.
She is a lovely girl with such a sweet disposition. The dog warden had postponed putting her down because she was such a good girl.
Misty was a stray that was picked up by animal control in April but her owner didn't bother to come looking for her. She waited and waited, scared and confused ... but nobody came for her.
I saw her when I pulled Ringo and I refused to leave her behind. The dog warden said her time was up. He just couldn't keep her any longer.
At present, Misty is being boarded by another rescue group until I have room for her in my home.
If you are interested in this wonderful dog, please contact me for arrangements to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MISTY, a Columbus Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
