Josey's Story...
Hi my name is Josey and I am an adorable , friendly, sweet, lovable happy, smart girl. I was left in an apartment and fortunately I was rescued by a kind couple who found me. My foster sister is a large Doberman and I get along well with other dogs. I have a fun time at the dog park where my foster parents take us. I'm about 2 years old and weigh in at 70 lbs! I stay home all day with my foster sister while my Mom and Dad are at work. I am fully vaccinated spayed and ready to find my loving forever home with the family who will shower me with love. fill out an adoption application: http://goo.gl/forms/bhpAEvFYTu

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josey, a Houston Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
