Please contact Lynn (lynnleach@aol.com) for more information about this pet.
All of our dogs and cats are in foster homes and we have no paid staff.  If you have questions concerning a specific animal,  PLEASE fill out an application and the foster parent will be in touch.  We will not arrange any home visits with any of our dogs and cats until your application is processed.  Please understand our foster parents are precious to our 2nd Chance family; without them we cannot function, so we do our best to not burden them with multiple appointments.  Our foster parents will choose their top 3 applications and arrange home visits with these applicants.  The adopter will be chosen at that time.  The process can take anywhere from a week to a month.  We want to make sure our little furry ones are placed in their "forever home" and never have to go through a rehoming again!

Hello my name is Logan I know weird name for a girl right?  Well I'm no prissy female anyway so thats OK.  I get along with all the other foster dogs in my home and I like attention oh and I really like food so my foster mommy says I cant go to anyone who insists on giving treats cause I would get REALLY fat and then she says we don't live as long and have health problems and I don't want that!

I came from ACCT Philly.  That is a really scary place and my people handed me and Lindsey over and walked away.  The guy went to put me in this high cage and dropped me.  I fell 4 feet on to the cement floor on my head and had a seziure!  It was awful!!!  When that happened they took me somewhere else and I didn't see Lindsey again.  I was soooo scared I just cuddled in a corner with my face in the corner of the cage and tried to shut out the world.   The shelter decided it was time to put me to sleep!!  Thank God they put out an email that they were going to euth me and 2nd Chance drove to Philadelphia.  When they got there their director said 'where is Logan' the shelter said on the adoption floor.  The Director said get her.  The shelter worker said I don't know if I can we have her up for adoption.  The Director said you either give me both or I take neither (she told me later she was bluffing and would NEVER have left me behind but she knew the shelter would not want to make that decision :)   Soooo they went and got Lindsey and I was soooo happy when I saw a familiar face!!
These days we are not as close as we have made other friends in the house so our foster mom says we do not need to go together.
I am not a cat dog.  I like to chase them way to much!!  The cat in my house now HATES me.  I don't know why, she runs, I chase :)

Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to  families with children under the age of 5.  We do not adopt dogs to renters.  Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.

A pet is a lifetime commitment.  The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners.  We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs.  Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!

About 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is a foster network. Our goal is to find our precious little ones their "forever families" where they will live out the rest of their lives. Your dog is a part of your family and should be treated as such. You don't give away your children and neither should your loyal pet be dispensable!
All our dogs must be altered before adoption. Spay/Neuter is the only way to stop the senseless overpopulation we have now. Our hope is one day with education we will live in a society where shelters are not a necessity and no animal will die just for lack of space!

We do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 4.
You must own your own home.
If the dogs page says requires fence it must be a physical fence
When you go to our site www.2ndChance4LifeRescue.org and click on the dog you are interested in you will see under the dogs photo a line that says "wont you consider adopting me" click on the adopt button and the application will come up.
