My name is Logan and I can tell you I had a pretty rough time at the shelter :( First my family dropped off Lindsey and I and that was really scary! Then the shelter worker dropped me when going to put me in a cage and I fell pretty far unto the cement floor on my head and had a seizure and then they split Lindsey and I up and I just felt like I was going to die. I put my head in the corner of the back of the cage and didn't move and tried to be invisible because I was soooo scared and then the ladies from 2nd Chance came and they told the shelter people to go get my Lindsey and then they put us both on the floor together I still couldn't move but boy was I glad to see her! Then the 2nd Chance ladies said we were going home with them and they were NOT going to split us up!
Now both Lindsey and I are in the same foster home and our foster mommy makes sure we get to sleep together EVERY night and we stay together all day long! Our foster mommy is really really nice and she promised us we will never be apart again!
So if you want a cool pair of chihuahua's please put in an application :)
Please understand we do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.
A dog is a lifetime commitment. The dogs in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners :( We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the dog is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
