Dottie's Story...
Dottie is a 4-1/2 year old DSH sweet girl. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly with a gentle touch and voice to let her know she is okay. She loves to cuddle and play with cat toys and loves her scratching post. Dottie and her six babies were left behind when her owner moved out of his house. Thank goodness someone found them and reached out to Fur-Ever Home. Dottie is fully vetted, litter box trained, and will meow at you when you talk to her. She is currently in a home with multiple cats and gets along great with the ones that have welcomed her, the others she just respects their space and moves along. You must meet this beautiful, sweet girl to appreciate her. Please contact us at info@fur-ever-home.org or 949-444-9154.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a San Clemente Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Clemente, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Clemente.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Clemente already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Clemente breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Clemente paves the way for another one to be saved.
