Charley's Story...
3-1/2 month-old Charley the puppy is ready for his forever home! Adopted from the local pound when he was 7-8 weeks old, he was successfully treated for Parvo (documented on his veterinarian record), and now has a life-long immunity to it. Charley's personality is playful, but also laid-back, having been with other puppies and socialized with adult dogs and a cat in his foster home. He enjoys being with his foster mom, and likes following her around when she is doing chores outdoors. He mainly lives outside, but has been indoors a couple times with no accidents, so may require a structured schedule if allowed to live mainly indoors. He's a non-barker who loves to ride. The mix of his two breeds makes him the perfect family dog. Weight = 24 lbs. Adoption fee is $120.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charley, a Pulaski Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pulaski, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Pulaski.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pulaski already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pulaski breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pulaski paves the way for another one to be saved.
