My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bingley is a Maltese/terrier mix puppy approximately 5 months old. He is a tan and white bundle of energy. He loves to go for brisk walks, but also loves to cuddle and play with his chewy. Bingley loves children and adults, but because of his size, would do well with children over age 8. He sleeps in his crate with the door open in the bedroom on the floor next to his foster mom. He is pretty much potty trained, but is a puppy and needs to go out every few hours. He loves his kong filled with treats. He mostly eats dry food, but has canned food mixed in with dry food as part of his crate training. He is learning to be nice and not bark or growl at other dogs. Like many little dogs and puppies, he is learning that big dogs do not spell trouble and do not need to be attacked or ran away from. He is great on a leash and loves walks! He is learning to sit and stay and not jump up on the furniture. He is anxious when left alone, as many puppies are, but is working on being a big boy. He takes his naps in his crate in the living room after a couple hours with his toys or following people around.

(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and ask for the adoption application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
