My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BRODIE is about 12 months old, house trained, crate trained and loves life in general! He is excellent with all dogs and children. He knows no stranger, and loves going to doggie daycare at Camp Bow Wow! He is a staff favorite there. Everyone who meets him falls for his happy, fun personality. BRODIE is always up for an adventure! He rides well in the car and would be thrilled to go hiking, jogging, or pretty much anywhere with anyone. BRODIE is the definition of family dog and is ready to start making memories and going on adventures with his forever family!

BRODIE is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His adoption fee of $450 includes his interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
