I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Foxy's Story...
Foxy is a 7 year old, 20 pound, female pomeranian mix. She is a looker! Her family surrendered her because they are moving and couldn't take her. She is spayed, healthy, and walks great on leash. She is crate trained. She is not house trained but her foster is helping her with that. She loves being bathed and brushed....a girly girl. She'll even roll so that you get both sides groomed. She's okay with other dogs but needs a slow, off leash supervised intro. She's great with her foster brother Murphy who she shares a crate, shares food and plays with. She is looking for her true forever family.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Los Angeles Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
