Sophie # 4053 is a sweet 1-year-old female Hound mix. She is housebroken, gets along with kids, cats and other dogs. She walks wonderfully on a leash and loves to go for long walks. She only barks when necessary in the house, great for security. She knows basic commands. She would be a great addition to a family with another dog for her to play with, she seems shy at first but comes out of her shell quickly. If you like to go for walks, this is definitely a dog for you, previous owner had health issues and had to give her up, she was well loved! Give this girl a chance, you won’t regret it! This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
