Java's Story...
This litter was found in a box in the woods and then posted on Craigslist for free. They are now safe in foster care but are so emaciated and full of worms we really don't know what their mix is. They were posted as Boxer mixes but they are only about 2 lbs (the size of a Chihuahua) They will need quite a bit of care and time to gain weight and be cleared for adoption. There are 5 girls and 3 boys. *** UPDATE ***They are slowly gaining weight and adjusting very well. They still need a bit more time but they are active and playful and enjoying the activities at their foster home!

Since all of our puppies are fostered in a private residence an approved application is required in order to arrange a visit at the foster home
~~~ If you would like to submit an application for possible approval please email so an application can be emailed to you ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Java, a Milford Boxer/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Chihuahua for sale in Milford, or seeking a Boxer/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boxer/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
