Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MAGGIE is an 8 year old spayed chocolate female Lab who weighs 68 pounds. She is a very sweet and beautiful girl. . Maggie is house trained and crate trained. She is used to sleeping in her crate at night. Maggie enjoys going for walks and is good on leash. She seems to know basic commands and is a very calm girl. Maggie is good with other dogs. No cat history. Maggie is very gentle with kids and she is approved for kids 3+.
Update:: After losing her mate, Walker, Maggie has become very afraid of men. As a result, it would be best if she goes to a female only household.
Update:Maggie is a really sweet dog and will be a faithful companion to an experienced lab owner. She's a bit anxious around new people, but once she gets familiar with you, she'll follow you wherever you go. She gets so at excited at the site of the leash in my hand when getting prepared to take her for a walk, which she just loves (3-4 times a day). She's great on the leash and she knows to stay with me and knows the "Come!" command. She's a great family dog and very tolerant of kids. She is crate trained and seems to do well with time in the crate to rest during the day and at night time. I know she was a bonded pair with Walker, but she seems more at ease without another dog around. Maybe another dog could come later after she's well acclimated to her new family. She would do best with an experienced lab owner that fully understands their traits and knows how to provide a loving and comfortable environment for this breed.
From evaluator:
Maggie is so pretty! She was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up to me. She enjoyed the pets and attention. Maggie did great meeting my female Lab.
