According to his foster dad, Shannara is a loveable, big puppy who has no idea how large she is. She is like Clifford the big red dog. She has to sleep on top of you and takes up the whole bed. She loves her toys and looking out the window gathering info about the neighborhood. She also loves pink lemonade so do not try to drink it in front of her because she will lick from the cup as soon as you put it down. Shannara is a big ball of love but requires a lot of work as she is very active but she is still a puppy. She loves to take long walks, chase birds, catch balls (her football), and be around people in general. She loves meeting people and always gives you a warm response, wagging her tail and running to the door for a walk. She also loves the shower and is very cooperative at bath time but demands her own towel. Shannara also likes music, which calms her.
Shannara is housebroken, crate trained, and loves meeting new people. She appears to be dog selective so will do best in a home as an only pet. Shannara is very smart and already knows sit, paw, and lay down, and will carry items for you in her mouth!
The perfect forever family for Shannara is one that has the time and energy to continue her training and make sure she gets enough exercise. Shannara would prefer to be the only pet and children middle school age or older due to her youthful excitement.
