MIA (R)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

MIA (R)'s Story...
Say hello to Mia! She is so sweet and quiet. Her family brought her to the shelter on 04/29. They said she should be in a home with no small children because she plays too rough for them. The family did say she is house trained. Mia sits and stays and takes treats very gently from your hands. She walks nicely on a leash and will enjoy taking strolls with you or will just by the television with you in the evenings. She is spayed, tested negative for heart worms and current on vaccines, and will be micro-chipped when adopted. She is waiting to meet her new family in run 25 and her ID# is 583868. Mia is 3 years old and weighs 67 pounds.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MIA (R), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
