Gavin's Story...
Hi there - my name is Gavin. I'm a very sweet, sociable terrier mix. I'm about 1 year old and 11lb boy!

I'll tell you one thing - I LOVE LOVE LOVE to play with other dogs. They are teaching me about this wonderful thing called TOYS. They are weird and amazing....with the squeaking and the chewy-ooey-goodness! I sometimes play a little shy at first, but warm up fairly quick. I'm bashful in talking about myself so if you have any questions that maybe I could answer, that'd be swell!

My adoption fees are $300. I am neutered, current on shots, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm tested, and checked over by a vet to be sure I'm healthy! If you'd like a sweet and social and handsome fella to join your family, please email info@calicanrescue.com and set up a telephone interview with CaliCan Rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gavin, a Edmonton Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
