Bonnie & Clyde's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bonnie & Clyde's Story...
Bonnie & Clyde are two seven month old kittens who are sweet, playful and absolutely adorable. We rescued them from Putnam, where they were in danger because the shelter was very full. We prefer to keep Bonnie and Clyde together if possible. If you're only interested in one kitten, we have several others who can be adopted alone.

We have a Buy One Get One (BOGO) special on kittens, so if you adopt one, you get the second kitten free. The adoption fee is $50 for kittens under 16 weeks old, so with the BOGO, you get two kittens for $50.

We spay and neuter at 4 months, 4 pounds, so we do a provisional adoption until they're fixed. You can get a free spay/neuter at Clay Humane Society, and once you give us documentation showing they're fixed, then the adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie & Clyde, a Jacksonville American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
