Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is my foster Gus and I could say all the things that you hear about every dog looking for a home. But I looked at him last night and this is what I thought: Have you ever met a person that you just wanted to be around because they loved life no matter what it had handed them and when they became your friend you became a better person? That is Gus, just with four legs and fur. Gus is a Hound-Golden Retriever mix, approximately 10 years old. The sweetest and most well-mannered old gentleman you’ll every meet, he loves being around people, snuggling and getting lots of attention in between naps. He also gets along well with other dogs, including playful young pups, and could care less about cats. He has an injured hind leg due to an old break and moves pretty slowly, yet he loves to go on walks and will wander off if given the chance so a fenced yard would be nice. House-trained, in good health and up-to-date on vaccinations, Gus is a spry old gent looking for a loving home in which to enjoy his retirement years. If interested in meeting Gus please email Suzanne at hairyaloe@gmail.com or call 843-901-3029 for an adoption application.
