Facts about Pearl

  • Breed: Pomeranian
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9585588

Pearl was found wandering the streets on Christmas Eve. A volunteer with One By One Animal Advocates took her in, tried to find her owners (with no luck), & worked on nursing her back to health. She has now joined COPR, completed her vetting and she is now looking for her forever home.

Pearl is the sweetest most loving little senior girl and deserves a home where she will be the queen of the castle.   To know her is to love her,  she adores everyone she meets and will lounge quietly in your arms or on your lap all day.   Her coat is coming back in so beautifully. :)

She doesn't have many teeth left and her cute little tongue hangs out the side of her mouth.  Can't help but smile looking at her darling little face!!!

Pearl has had a dental, x-rays, bloodwork & is spayed.

She has a grade 3 heart murmur, but does not require any medication at this time.  Pearl has some sort of rectal nerve damage resulting in difficulty with pottying at times.  She is not incontinent, but needs to be wiped or assisted with defecating.  We are working on diet changes to help with this issue.

Please consider giving Pearl a forever home....she will be forever grateful and so will you! :)

Pearl is eligible for our Senior to Senior program - Approved Adopters, Age 65 and older, will receive $100 off adoption fee towards adoption of any dog age 7 & older.

About Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

COPR is all volunteer based. Our rescued dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Illinois. Our foster homes are dedicated and loving individuals that work on assessing each dog to better understand the kind of family the dog is best suited for. Upon intake, each of our dogs are given appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped and kept on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Our volunteers work to socialize our dogs and prepare them for their forever home.

Our Adoption Process...

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue. Please understand that it is not our intention to make the adoption process cumbersome; it is only to ensure the animals in our care get the best possible match to last a lifetime.

Our adoption fee is $260, which includes ’: spay or neuter (unless too young or underlying health issues), current parvo/distemper/lepto vaccination(s), rabies vaccination (if older than 16 weeks), heartworm test for all dogs over 6 months, and all dogs will have been provided age appropriate monthly flea and heartworm preventative and any necessary dewormer(s) while in our care. Bonded pairs will not be separated for any reason, and the adoption fee will be reduced to $420 for the pair.

All current pets that reside in the residence must be spayed/neutered and kept up to date on regular vetting . Application processing can take up to a week or longer and is completed with a home visit. COPR reserves the right to deny any applicant.
