Patches certainly has a classic look. She looks like she should be hanging out with the Little Rascals or listening to an old record player. She has a pretty sturdy personality to match. Equal parts playful and sweet, strong but a manageable size, Patches is the whole package.
Patches really loves to be pet and touched. She will patiently walk up to you and sit expectantly. If you are particularly resistant to her charms, she will lick your face. Try ignoring that. Outside of cuddling, she really loves to be active. She's not into toys, but she loves to zoom around the yard and generally frolic. When you tell her 'down' or 'no,' she'll respond immediately. She is very people focused.
Patches hasn't had a lot of formal training, so her new family will have to take some time up front to work with her. She is working on house training and she is otherwise well-behaved when left alone. She is doing well with her leash training. She gets along with other dogs, but hasn't met any cats or kids that we know of.
The best home for Patches would be one where she can have a yard or frequent trips to the park, and with owners that have a bit of time for her. She loves being around people. Overall, Patches is quite agreeable. We would happy to arrange an introduction with any dogs you already have at home.
If you're an old fashioned soul, you just might fall for this black and white beauty. Come meet her!
