This beautiful young lady is Lucky, a 1 1/2 year old flat-coated retriever that is hoping for a fabulous home of her own to grow up in. Lucky had a home but was turned in because the other dog in her home did not like her. We can't imagine what's not to like about Lucky, a more mellow and well-behaved girl will be hard to find! Lucky is a little confused about her new situation and is wondering why she is no longer at home, but she is making the best of it and making so many new friends. There is not much shyness about Lucky. All it takes is for you to notice her and talk to her a little and she will stand on her hind legs and give you a gentle hug. Lucky is an absolute mush and flops on her back instantly for a belly rub. She is such a lady and walks well on a leash, sits and gives you a pawshake when asked, and is even great for grooming. Lucky enjoys roaming around in our exercise yard but shows little interest in toys, opting to sit next to you instead to get some attention. She has grown up with dogs, cats and kids and is fine with them all. Any good family would be lucky to welcome Lucky into their hearts and home. File#26192 5/3/16
