Popeye's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Popeye's Story...
This adorable, social big goofball was being held at a city shelter as an evidence dog. That means he was there a very long time. As soon as he was released, we snatched him up!

Popeye is great with other dogs. If they are annoying he "boxes" them on the nose and walks away. He really is quite tolerant and would do great in a home with any size dog

Popeye is good on the leash, knows the basic commands and is very food motivated. If he gets more rambunctious than desired a simple "HEY" stops his behavior. He is REALLY good.

Popeye is 3 years old and 61 pounds. To apply, please go to https://www.dawgsquad.org/adoption_application_2.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Popeye, a West Los Angeles Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
