LILLY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Lilly      Breed: Domestic Short Haired mix

Approximate Age: 2-3 years     Sex: Female

Approximate Weight: 12 lbs   Coloring: Dilute Calico

Has Lived With: Cats   Type of Hair: Medium

Currently Living at:  DC foster

I was saying to myself just this morning, 'Lilly,' I said, 'Lilly, you know what you need? You need a person all your own.' So I sat down to write this post for the nice people at Lucky Dog, because apparently that's the kind of thing they do - find nice people for extremely intelligent and lovable, kitties who are...I shudder to type this...LAPLESS. That's right: I have no lap to call my own. Could you be persuaded to volunteer yours?

This little charmer knows she's got it and is not afraid to flaunt it! Lilly seeks a new owner who can meet her every need and spoil her beyond her wildest dreams. Sound like you?

Adoptable Lilly is a very sweet DSH mix weighing approximately 12lbs. She is still young at only about 2-3 years old. Lilly has dilute calico coloring, which is absolutely stunning!

This sweet girl was found with her 4 kittens, who have all been adopted. Now Lilly is ready to find a forever home of her own! She would love a comfy couch to sit on and to soak up plenty of attention. Interested in Lilly? Fill out an application! You won't regret it.

Foster Update!

Lilly is a very playful kitty. When I first got her, she only hid inside her litter box or she was under the bed. Now she loves to spend her time on the bed and at night she loves to play footsie! She loves to be pet for a little while, but will let you know when she would prefer to play instead! She loves to play with toys and chase balls!

Second Foster Update!

'She is warming up more and more to getting attention. She likes to be where I am and she loves to get attention for a little while, and then she gets very playful!'

The adoption fee for this cat is $150 ($275 for two cats or kittens adopted together), which includes the cost of routine vetting. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Amanda at amandag@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
