Bert's Story...
We can't believe Bert has had nobody interested in him! We've had him for a couple months and he is the sweetest, most handsome pup. Bert came to us from a kill shelter down south, where he was found as a stray. He has been treated for Heartworm and has had to be on crate rest, but he is almost ready to be able to run around again. He is good on leash, playful, loving, and he has been great with other dogs. He doesn't pay much attention to the cats here either. Please note that Bert is a Cattle Dog mix. They are an active breed that is not content sitting on the couch all day. A family that can walk him and play with him daily is a must! He's a smart pup and is crate trained. He is very quiet in his crate! Bert can be seen at our shelter anytime. He would love a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bert, a Broadway Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
