Sweet Trumpet, affectionately dubbed Booger by the TBL volunteers, is certainly a crowd favorite! On most given days you can see this peppy little guy roaming the front office taking his job as one of the office greeters to stride. Trumpet is the last of Opahs instrument puppies, born at TBL February 2013. Shortly after joining the world, he caught a nasty infection and there was a short time when we were afraid he was not going to make it, but the little trooper fought the odds and emerged a happy, healthy, and vivacious puppy! Fast forward 4+ years, and we are boggled as to why this little cutie is still with us. Trumpet is a friendly, spunky, hearty, and fun-loving little guy. He loves other dogs of all shapes and sizes (you should watch him play with pups at least 5 times his size!), and he's a ham for human affection. Since he has been in foster all his life, this smart fella comes crate and house trained. He also has great recall and loves to run around with his canine and human companions at Fiesta Island off-leash. Trumpet weighs in at around 15 pounds, and is 4 years old as of 2017. Even though we all love Boogs, it is time for our favorite pint-sized buddy to go to his forever home!
