Bandit's Story...
Our pets are fostered in NC and VA. We can transport to most any Northeastern state once they are adopted. You can get more information on our web site www.saveamuttkennel.info
Bandit's owner died and left him and several other companions all alone. We stepped up to help Bandit and the other dogs. Bandit's friend Scooby is also here with us as well as Blue Boy and Daisy the heelers. We helped some other dogs there as well.

Little Bandit had such a rough time. He not only lost his owner but he had an accident. Once we secured the dogs that needed help at the deased owner's home we took Bandit to the vet. Bandit had apparently gotten hit by a car. He had a fractured pelvis. He is going to be fine with a couple weeks of crate rest. Our vet assures us he will recover completly.

Bandit is a cute little fellow, around 15 pounds. He is great with other dogs and great with cats. He is god with people as well. He loves to snuggle and he is pretty laid back.

If he is adopted with his buddy Scooby I would be happy to discount the combined adoption fee.

He is neutered, current on shots and we just had a negative heartworm test. He is current on preventive and microchipped. He will go to his new home with a certificate of health from the vet. He will also receive 1 free month of Pet health insurance.

We require pre screen application to apply. You can get the application on our main web site at www.saveamuttkennel.info

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Burlington Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
