Daisy's Story...
We will post a better picture of Daisy just as soon as we can.
All our pets are fostered in NC and VA. We can transport the pet to you once adopted. We have many stops in most states in the Northeast.

Daisy came from a home where her owner had died. She had several companions that we helped. Her mate Blue Boy is available and with us a well. If they are adopted together I would be happy to discount the combined adoption fee. Daisy is sweet and very laid back and humble. She is around 40 pounds. She is purebred. She is great with other dogs as well. She is good with people and was very forthcoming with me, she had never met me prior to her owner dieing. She accepted me like she had known me her own life.

She will go to her home spayed, she is current on her vaccines and she just had a negative heartworm test. She is current on prevention and microchipped. She will receive a complete physical and a health certificate issued by our vet no more than 48 hrs prior to her going to her new home.

We require pre screen application to apply. You can get the application on our main web site at www.saveamuttkennel.info

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Burlington Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
