Petey is a 3-4 year old American Bulldog mixed breed. He is a friendly, happy dog who enjoys going for walks, playing ball and sitting or relaxing with some of his best friends. He will do amazing in a home with proper exercise, socialization and some additional basic training. Petey had a rough start to life as we think he was tied outside for most of it so be patient when you meet him and give this big boy some time and he'll prove what a great pet he can be. The American Bulldog breed is sensitive and sometimes requires more attention than other breeds due to their highly emotional temperaments. They are most comfortable with their families and build a very strong bond. Petey has been waiting long enough and deserves a family with older teenagers/adults willing to provide him lots of love, structure and warmth. All he wants is a warm bed and a loving family. Give Petey a chance and stop by; we'll be happy to introduce you to him.
