I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Daisy's Story...
Daisy is a very friendly, young dog. She is about a year old and still all puppy. She is an energetic but very loving dog. She knows her basic commands and is house trained because she came to us from a home. She was surrendered because the children of the family weren't walking her properly. However she did get along well with the kids and would gladly join a family again that has children.

You can visit me during open hours, which are Monday through Thursday 9am-3pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm or email to make an appointment for another time. Please see our website at palspetsia.com for adoption fees and other information!

The PALS shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Grinnell Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Grinnell, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Grinnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grinnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grinnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grinnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
