Queenie's Story...
This is our sweet precious little Queenie. Queenie's story is kind of unbelievable It's actually a miracle that she and her pups are alive and well. The rescue got a call from a concerned woman who thought she heard whimpering from the house next door which was vacant. We got hold of the property manager and searched the home only to find Queenie and her 7 pups locked in a closet that was no more than 2 feet by 2 feet! As you can imagine it was quite a mess in there but everyone appeared to be okay. Her pups have all been adopted and now it's little Queenie's turn to find her forever home. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all of her shots. she is the best cuddle bug you can ever imagine! Won't you please give Queenie a happy life? Adoption fee is $450.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Queenie, a Brattleboro Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
