Lucky # 4089 is a loving, active 1-year-old pointer mix. This young lady wants to be everybody's best friend and playmate. She has a ton of energy and loves to run, jump, chew toys, and play tug-of-war. She has learned to "sit" in her foster family. She is also house trained and crate trained. Lucky definitely needs an active family, preferably with a fenced yard, who can give her lots of daily exercise and playtime. She would make an excellent jogging/running/hiking buddy. Lucky is good with other dogs but likes to rough house. She would not do well with a quiet or older dog and we encourage adopters with another dog to have a meet meet and greet with any potential doggy siblings before going home. Lucky should not go to a home with cats. She is fine with children, but can get very energetic when she wants to play, so she will need to be supervised around small children. When she is not playing, Lucky is an extremely loving pup. She craves human affection and is happy to cuddle up next to her humans to enjoy a bone or just to sleep. Lucky is very food motivated. She is full grown and weighs 35 pounds. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
